A traditional sized gun, the SATAjet 1500 B is the perfect gun for coating large areas quickly – such as a composite door or panelling. It’s a 1.3mm tip which is perfectly set for the ColorSpray range of coatings for PVC & GRP. Utilising the same ergonomics of the MiniJet, there’s really simple control of the fan pattern, airflow, and fluid control. As it’s a SATA gun, the SATA RPS pots also connect directly to gun with ease.
The standard nozzle on the SATAjet 1500 B is the RP (Reduced Pressure) variant. This has a slightly lower transfer efficiency compared to the HVLP air cap – but the application speed is much higher, as more paint material is being atomised and thus being applied. That’s what makes this the ideal gun for completing composite doors and larger areas. This has a larger consumption of air with regards to CFM (10.2 CFM) so is more suited to a larger compressor or booth application. This particular model includes a 500ml QCC hopper.
