The SATA Air Star F includes a pair of cartridges to get up and going, and 10 pre-filters. The A2:P3 R D filters are the highest level of filtration available in a cartridge filter – with the P3 meaning it filters about 99.95% of particles smaller than 0.5micrometer. The A2 filter filters at 5000 parts per million, compared to 1000 parts per million of gas vapours in the air.

The pre-filters should be replaced as soon as you can feel the air flow starting to slow down (will vary depending on the volume of air filtrated) and the cartridges replaced between every 3-6 months depending on your application.
The A2:P3 Filters can be purchased in pairs on our website – as can the pre-filters. They use a simple twist action to replace.
