Is Pink as a door colour choice, that started during the lockdown and reached new heights with the Barbiecore trend, finally showing signs of waning?
Research research from Kitchen, door and flooring retailer Magnet indicates there may well be a new door colour set to liven up the streets…. Lilac, rather than pink, looks set to become the colour of choice for customers looking for something playful and bright in 2024.
The popularity of pink doors over the last few years shows homeowners are more than happy to stray from the neutral, black-grey-white palette and be more adventurous in their colour choices. Lilac is an equally romantic and playful colour, but not as opinion-dividing as pink, making it a perfect choice for people who want a clean and subtle front door but with a splash of colour.
Google data backs up these findings with searches for lilac doors increased by 271 percent over the past 12 months, and we have seen a similar rise in requests from customers across the ColorSpray Network.
Whilst looking to add Lilac hues and shades to our range our team of colourists found the options within the RAL palette rather uninspiring. We therefore made the decision to develop our own curated lilac colour collection that is perfect for doors. Created to give both traditional and modern interpretations of lilac, the stunning additions to our door colour range include four distinct variants, Lilac Blush, Mulholland Drive, Plum Blossom, and Moroccan Sunset
Lilac Blush
Lilac Blush is the pinkest of RegaLead’s four shades, offering a classic colour twist for traditional doors.
