AIR SPRAY APPLICATION OF COATINGS FOR THE FENESTRATION INDUSTRY
Following the successful launch of the ColorSpray Network Training Centre in Manchester, we’re pleased to announce our GQA-Accredited training course for new and existing paint-shop teams.
This qualification gives an opportunity to formalise training within the paint shop, promoting a greater sense of responsibility and pride amongst a team – but to also look at existing processes & practices and promote a safer & more efficient process in the factory.
The Air Spray Application of Coatings for the Fenestration Industry is a day long course, consisting of some classroom based learning, followed by a
practical session. The classroom section will assess existing knowledge and understanding, and track progress throughout the day. The day culminates in an invigilated exam to qualify for the GQA Qualification.
This accredited course is designed for the paint applicators – however to promote greater accountability and ownership in the paint spraying environment, we can also offer a separate, non-accredited Supervisor & Manager course.
Overview:
- Understanding Spray Booth Operations, Equipment and Maintenance Requirements
- Understanding Requirements of Substrate Preparation
- Personal Protective Equipment
